Marguerite E. Swartz

Marguerite E. Swartz, 90, of Elizabethtown passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Born in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Crider) Chestnut.

She is survived by her children: Bonnie Witmer (Vernon) and Gary Swartz; grandson Keith Swartz (Angela); great grandchildren Jazmine & David Swartz; and siblings Ruth Calaman, Mary Jane Lebo, Lee Chestnut, and W. John Chestnut. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence M. Swartz, sister Lois Hoover, and great grandson William Swartz.

A Funeral Service will be held at 9AM on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022, with Pastor Paul Miller officiating. A viewing will be held from 8-9AM prior to the service. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 E.
