Patricia (Mowery) Trout

Patricia Trout, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the age of 90. Born April 5, 1932 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John & Catherine (Hartman) Mowery. She was married 45 years to the love of her life John W. whom she stayed loyal to after his passing.

After graduating from McCaskey High School she spent time as a home maker raising her children. In her free time, she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband in the Poconos and Juniata county, playing dominos, cooking, her beloved dogs, and walking on the beach. One of her greatest joys was moving to North Carolina and spending time with good friends at the senior center.

Our family would like to extend their greatest appreciation at Roosevelt 4 of Masonic Village, as this was her home for the past 5 years. Giving thanks to the nurses and doctors who dedicated their time to taking care of our mother and all who surrounded her.

She is survived by her children: Louene Trout, Maleia Trout, Myrrah Trout, Jaclynne Trout and Adrienne Trout. 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 step great grandson, and 1 step great-great granddaughter.

Services will be private per family request.
