Kent E. Wagner

Kent E. Wagner, 75, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Elizabeth Manor. Born, Tuesday, April 18, 1944 in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Rebecca (Puff) Wagner. He was married 44 years to Teresa L. (Shank) Wagner.

Kent was the owner/operator of the former Black Horse Hotel in Elizabethtown. A US Army Vietnam veteran, he was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose, all in Elizabethtown. He was a dedicated Notre Dame fan, and enjoyed attending their football and basketball games. Go Irish! Kent was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and loved playing softball, especially with his Black Horse Hotel team.

In addition to his wife, Kent is survived by his son Dustin Eric Wagner and wife Stephanie of Wilmington, NC; daughter Denise Love Riddle of Simpsonville, SC. He had five grandchildren: Hannah, Emma, and Eric Wagner; and Brandon and Brooke Riddle.
