Stephanye D. Smith

Stephanye D. Smith, 72, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Littlestown, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Friday, September 7, 1951 in Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Bernice (Bowers) Yealy.
Stephanye was a 1969 graduate of Littlestown High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in 1974 from Mansfield College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gettysburg. Stephanye had been employed as an interior decorator with Eisenhhart’s of Hanover.
Surviving is a son Heath Mackley and wife Holly of Danville, PA; a daughter Brittany Carey and husband Forrest of Walkersville, MD, and six grandchildren: Charles, Lillyanna, Elizabeth, Esther, Saoirse and Maeve.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, 1015 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325 at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow. Interment is private.
