Ruth Monica Feltz Cielewich

November 25, 1922 – May 6, 2016
Born in Medina New York with Brothers Jack and Bernard, Ruth and her brothers were lovingly raised by her mother Laura (Holt) Feltz. After Graduation from Medina High School in 1940, she was employed by the HJ Heinz Company. She met and married the love of her life, Donald E Cielewich (42 years), also of Medina NY in 1947. She became a home maker and was mother to (2) Sons (Scott P Cielewich, and Donald E Cielewich Jr). Ruth was a devout Catholic and Volunteer for her various parishes. As a result of her husband Don’s career and frequent promotions, they lived at various times in Medina NY, Batavia NY, Clarence NY, Williamsville NY, Wilmington DE, New Castle PA, and retired to Jupiter FL. Her final residence was at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, PA.

Donald E Cielewich (Linda Spada Cielewich) of Annapolis, MD.
Ruth was the Grandmother of (4) Grandchildren

Jennifer Cielewich Velcio of San Diego CA (LTCDR Nathaniel Velcio)
Scott P Cielewich of Buffalo NY
Kathryn Cielewich Gentzke (Joshua Gentzke) San Francisco CA
Ruth was the Great Grandmother of (4)
Zachary Cielewich (7) Lucas Cielewich (5) of Millersville MD
Vera Lynn (4) Gavin Velcio (2) of San Diego CA
Ruth was dedicated to serving others and volunteered her time and talents to:
Brothers of Mercy Home – Clarence, NY
Habitat for Humanity – Wilmington, DE
Habitat for Humanity – Jupiter, FL
Ruth received a citation signed by President Barack Obama (2008 Call to Service Award – USA Freedom Corps) for her years of Volunteer Service. Ruth was also recognized in the Masonic Village Magazine and in a National Publication for her love of dogs and the joy/comfort that animals provide those in Adult Care Services.
Ruth will be memorialized in a Ceremony of Catholic Mass followed by internment with her husband Donald E Cielewich where they will be reunited for eternity.
