Raymond A. Odenwalt
December 4, 1937 — February 22, 2017
Raymond A. Odenwalt, 79, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born December 4, 1937 in Columbia, he was the son of the late Harry Oldenwalt, Sr. and Ada (Aument) Odenwalt. He was married to Jacqueline Y. (Sholly) Odenwalt on August 9, 1968.
Raymond was a 24-year member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown and a lifelong member of the Susquehanna Fire Company, Columbia.
In addition to his wife of over 48 years, he will be lovingly missed by three daughters: Sheri L. Drury and husband, Michael, of Lititz; Raeann Slick and husband, John, of Columbia and Robin L. Bair and husband, Matthew, of Elizabethtown. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandsons; 1 great granddaughter as well as three sisters, Grace, Mary and Emily. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 East High Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1380.
