Maynard Rosenberry

Maynard E. Rosenberry, 87, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. He was born in Horse Valley, PA on September 17, 1938 to the late Homer Wilson and Martha Martin (Bricker) Rosenberry. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Edna Mae (Reed) Rosenberry, whom he married on March 15, 1958.

Maynard graduated from Chambersburg Area High School in 1956. He was a longtime member of the St. Paul’s UMC, Elizabethtown where he enjoyed playing on the church softball team in his younger years. He also enjoyed hunting, bowling, and bicycling.

He worked and retired from IBEW #143 Harrisburg, PA in 2001. He later worked part time at Manheim Auto Auction.

He is survived by his daughter, Sabrina A. Koser (Brian), Mount Joy; son, Dennis Rosenberry (Linda), Elizabethtown; son-in-law, Robert Shank, Elizabethtown; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Martin Rosenberry, Marvin Rosenberry (Lydia Ann), Marlin Rosenberry (Janet), Mary Jane Poe (Tim), and Mark Rosenberry (Naomi). In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter, Denise Shank; sister-in-law, Janice Rosenberry; sister, Miriam Hull; brother-in-law, Robert Hull.

A memorial service to honor his life, will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time of visitation will be held from 10 am until the start of the service. Burial will be private at Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Masonic Village Hospice, Elizabethtown or to his church, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, PA.
