Lynn I. Chubb Profile Photo

Lynn Irene Chubb, 66, of Bainbridge, PA, passed away May 7, 2024.  Born in Lancaster, she was the beloved daughter of Jean M. Chubb and the late William K. Chubb of Elizabethtown. She attended West High Street and Bainbridge Elementary School, graduating in 1975 from Elizabethtown Area High School. She also graduated from Empire Beauty School in Lancaster. She had a fulfilling career working production at Charles Chips in Mountville, AMP Incorporated in Elizabethtown and ITT in Lancaster, where she dedicated herself until her retirement in 2023. Lynny, as she was frequently called, was known for her good heart and compassionate soul, understanding the true meaning of friendship and family. With grace, she faced life’s challenges, finding solace in her home and the company of loved ones, including her cherished pet cats. She also loved flowers, being outside and crafting. Family and friends still use the durable long-ago woven-loop potholders she created. Lynn was moved by this quote from philosopher and author Albert Camus: "Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend." She is survived by her mother Jean M. Chubb, her brother Bill, his wife Raquel nieces Lara and Eloisa. Private services for family will be held to honor Lynn Irene Chubb.
