Kenneth Richard Walsh, 68, of Manheim, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Lebanon. Born, January 13, 1948 in San Francisco, CA, he was the son of the late John and Betty (Yotter) Walsh. He was the husband of Doris R. (Kreider) Walsh of Manheim. They were married September 29, 1988.
Kenneth was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served two tours of duty. He was a life member of the American Legion #185 and Post #5752, VFW, both in Mount Joy.
An electrician, Kenneth was retired from Hawthorne Electric, Mount Joy. He loved fishing, camping and Indian Pow Wows, and enjoyed watching game shows and Hee Haw.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight children, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from the Boyer Funeral Home, 144 East High Street, Elizabethtown at 7:00 PM. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
