Janet Louise (Wallace) Geiser

Janet Louise (Wallace) Geiser, 83, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Huntingdon, PA, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at Masonic Village.  Born in State College, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Anna Caroline (Dixon) Isenberg, and Melvin Lee Wallace. She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Geiser in 1995.

Janet was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 407, and Order of Amaranth. She worked as a legal secretary for Henry, Corcelius, Gates, Gill, & Ody for 25 years. Janet was always close with her family and loved watching her sons grow up.  In her free time she enjoyed golfing, cooking, and sewing.

She is survived by her four sons: Steven W. Potter, husband of Patti, of Altoona, Roy D. Geiser, husband of Karen, of Lititz, Mark L. Geiser, husband of Kathi, of Dauphin, Brian K. Geiser, husband of Tammy, of Ohio; six grandchildren: Staci, Greg, Rachel, Ian, Evan, and Luke; one great granddaughter, Adelyn Grace, and sister Thelma Wallace of Huntingdon.

A Memorial Service with Eastern Star Services will be held at on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11AM in the Sell Chapel of the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, with Chaplain Timothy Nickel officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10-11AM. Burial will be private and at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 East High St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
