Dora (Parmer) Freeman

Dora Freeman, 98, of Bainbridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 5, 2020.  She was born to the late Guy, Sr. and Eva (Cross) Parmer. She is predeceased by her husbands Harry A. Halbleib and Leon Freeman.

Dora was a faithful church member and enjoyed going to Saturday services at the Pleasant Hills Christian Church in Harrisburg.  Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her children: Josephine Will and husband Richard, Harry Halbleib and wife Ruth, and Lois Ober and husband Phil; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; and sisters Mary and Mildred.  She is predeceased by her son Henry Halbleib and brothers Bob, Bill, and Guy, Jr. Parmer.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11AM at the Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 E. High St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Pastor Bruce Chesney and Pastor Robert Wertz officiating.  A time of viewing will be held from 10AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Garden, Columbia.
