Donald Jay Moyer, Sr.
March 6, 1932 — January 16, 2017
Donald J. Moyer, Sr., of Elizabethtown, passed away at Masonic Village on January 16, 2017 at age 85. He was born in Lewistown, PA to Roy F. and Ester (Reigle) Moyer.
Donald served in the US Air Force for 22 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Pennsylvania State Department of Revenue in Harrisburg where he lived for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ardith (Gilbert) Moyer and two sons: Timothy A. and wife Diana of Bethlehem, and Robert P. and wife Kristin of Cleona; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a daughter in law Vicki Moyer.
Donald was predeceased by a son Donald J., II.
A private service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
