Alice J.H. (Hufford) Reinhold

Alice J.H. Reinhold, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Conestoga View, Lancaster.  Born Sunday, October 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Miles and Florence (Leyman) Hufford and foster daughter of the late Isaac and Minerva Hackman.  She was married to Robert F. Reinhold for over 38 years.  Robert died on July 21, 1989.

Alice worked in the food service industry for the majority of her life.  She was employed by various nursing homes as well as the Elizabethtown College.  Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and above all, will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Robert E. Reinhold, husband of Lisa, of Vanderbilt; Jeannie L. Retherford, of Elizabethtown; Herman A. “Andy” Reinhold, of Ottawa, IL; Ralph I. Reinhold, husband of Erlene, of Westfield; Harvey A. Reinhold, of Middletown and Henry A. Reinhold, of Mount Joy; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Fahnestach and Delores Hackman as well as Alice’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to her husband, parents and foster parents, she was predeceased by a son, Clyde B. Reinhold and a sister, Jean Pelphrey.

Closed Casket Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Boyer Funeral Home Inc., 144 East High Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 from 7:00-9:00 PM.  Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Frystown Cemetery, Frystown, PA with Pastor Deryl Reinhold officiating.
