Dr. Jared Charles Lobdell, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away at his home on Friday, March 22, 2019. Born Monday, November 29, 1937 in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Jane Elizabeth (Hopkins) Lobdell. He was married to Jane Elizabeth (Starke) Lobdell for over 21 years.

Dr. Lobdell was a graduate of Yale University and published nearly 30 books

In addition to his wife, Jane, of Elizabethtown, he is survived by three nieces and two nephews as well as his extended family and caring friends.

Private Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 East High Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1380.
