Marian H. (Meinhardt) Stone

Marian Harriet (Meinhardt) Stone, 78, of Bainbridge, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Frey Village, Middletown.  She was born Saturday, September 11, 1937 in Christiana to the late Harry Brisben and Dorothy M. (Mimm) Meinhardt.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald F. Stone in 1994.   

She was an active and faithful member of Conoy Brethren in Christ Church, where she was involved in many fundraising events and various committees; as well as church secretary for many years.  Marian served on many and various committees throughout her life.  She was particularly proud of the work she did on the kitchen committee for the Roxbury Holiness Camp and the various ways she served the Gospel Tide Broadcasting Association.  Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. 

She is survived by 4 children, Edward Stone and wife Lisa, Barry Stone, Brenda Thomas and husband Keith, and Susan Hopple and husband Mark; 6 grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Alexis, Hunter, Felicia, and Victoria; a great-grandson, Gavin; and 2 brothers, Charles and Harry Meinhardt.  She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Leininger.        

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13th at 6:30 PM at Conoy Brethren in Christ Church, 1722 Bainbridge Rd., Elizabethtown 17022 with Pastor Al Frank officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 5 PM until time of the service.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Conoy Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 E. High St., Elizabethtown 17022. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Roxbury Holiness Camp, P.O. Box 28, Roxbury, PA 17251 or to Gospel Tide Broadcasting Assoc., P.O. Box 399, chambersburg, PA 17201.
