Anna Mae (Seiders) Gall

Anna Mae (Seiders) Gall, 95, formerly of Deodate, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Mercersburg.  Born February 26, 1922 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Sadie (King) Seiders.  She was married to Walter R. Gall for over 54 years until his death on October 7, 1999.

Anna was a retired LPN working at various medical and nursing facilities and also worked with the Visiting Nurse Association.  She attended Temple Bible Church (formerly Shenk’s Community Church) and was a member of the Hershey Region Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA).  She enjoyed quilting and planting flowers in her garden but above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly missed by a daughter, Mary J. Wright, of Mercersburg; 5 grandchildren: Christina Gall, James Gall, Carol Neumayer, Scarlett Smith and Adam Esquivel and 7 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings: Harold Seiders (Ada), of Manheim; Ruth Espenshade, of Elizabethtown; Orpha Zeager (Herbert), of Elizabethtown; Naomi Hoffer, of Manheim and Rachel Zeager (John), of Deodate.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Edwin L. Gall and a brother, Ralph Seiders.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Temple Bible Church, 5880 Schoolhouse Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with Pastor Andy Hawes officiating.  There will be a viewing held from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery (Shenk’s Community Cemetery).  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 144 East High Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1380.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Anna’s memory to Heartland Hospice, 417 Phoenix Drive, Unit A, Chambersburg, PA  17201.
